Sales Consultant

Location: NYC Metro
Compensation: Base salary and uncapped commissions

BRILLIAN Technologies is a looking for an exceptional individual to join our sales team. We seek a self-motivated, energetic, and confident person to identify, close and manage the relationship with restaurant and merchant customers. Must be able to perform well under pressure and against aggressive goals and deadlines in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment. Must enjoy working with and using new innovative technology for business and personal use.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify new merchant prospects
• Educate prospects on the value of our solutions
• Sign new customers and manage relationship with existing customers
• Update CRM software (salesforce.com, etc.) with lead activity information
• Build sales pipeline

Skills:

• High energy and drive to succeed
• Good time management skills
• Desire to establish BRILLIAN in the marketplace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Technology and Internet proficient
• Ability to present product information in a concise and effective manner

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Minimum of 1-3 years of sales or customer engagement experience within sales territory - contacts in the restaurant industry would be very helpful
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
• Demonstrated strong work ethic with references that can be verified
• Knowledge of restaurant and hospitality industry
• Technology and Internet proficient
• Must be able to clear our background and credit clearance check
• Access to an insured automobile (NYC Exempt)
• Access to a computer
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) a plus
